Utah State Football Hires Ray Brown As Cornerbacks Coach

first_img Written by Brad James FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailLOGAN, Utah-Per news released Tuesday, Utah State football hired Ray Brown as its new cornerbacks coach.Brown comes to the Aggies program from Troy where he spent the last two seasons coaching the Trojans’ cornerbacks.Brown starred as a cornerback at NCAA Division II East Central of Ada, Okla., starting all four years for the Tigers.He then commenced his coaching career at East Central from 2010-11, coaching the Tigers’ running backs and serving as the program’s run game coordinator.In 2012, he moved on to NCAA Division II Oklahoma Baptist, serving as the Bison’s special teams coordinator/defensive backs coach.In 2013, he advanced to the FBS level, serving as the defensive graduate assistant at Washington State.From 2014-2015, he served in the same role at Arizona State and later moved on to NCAA FCS Abilene Christian, coaching the Wildcats’ defensive backs from 2016-2018.Brown then moved on to Troy and ultimately to Utah State.Brown is a 2009 graduate of East Central University, earning a bachelor’s degree in business marketing and a master’s degree in sports administration in 2011.center_img February 10, 2021 /Sports News – Local Utah State Football Hires Ray Brown As Cornerbacks Coachlast_img read more
