Limerick man dies in fatal accident in US

first_imgPrint Limerick Artist ‘Willzee’ releases new Music Video – “A Dream of Peace” A FORMER champion rower from Limerick has died in a tragic mountain bike accident in his newly adopted home of Colorado. Mayorstone native Eddie Crean (43) died from his injuries in hospital on Monday night. Educated in St Nessan’s Community College, Mr Crean, who was a member of the Shannon Rowing Club, moved to Boston 20 years ago but had just recently moved to Colorado. Tributes have poured in to Facebook for the man known as ‘Fast Eddie’ to his friends because he “lived life to the full”. Mr Crean worked as a driver for the Gentle Giant moving and storage company in Somerville, Massachusetts. The company has posted a tribute with pictures on its Facebook page.
